The MedLite C6 laser is ideal for treating epidermal and dermal pigmented lesions. The Medlite is most commonly used for removing brown spots, liver spots, freckles and other brown birthmarks, such as cafe-au-lait spots and Neveus of Ota.
How does it remove unwanted pigment? The Medlite removes these pigments with the energy of light. The specialized light produced by Medlight laser is absorbed by the pigmented lesion. The unwanted pigment is then destroyed, thus removing the lesion.
